The effect of connected structureonSMK Bukit Tinggibuildingwas investigatedbased ontheirdynamic behaviour. structure was constructed with four main buildings are interconnected. Ambient vibration testing (AVT) used to predict the dynamic response and characteristics by using triaxial 1Hz seismometer CityShark data logger. AVT signals were analysed GEOPSY software for Fourier Amplitude Spectral(FAS). All predominant frequencies (fo) mode shapes identified verified previous research finding similar approach on same building, but different instrument accelerometer sensorand ARTeMIS processing tool. Five modes fo found from FAS curves this research, only obtained analysis. highest deviation percentage indicated at 5thmode building frequency 9.5 %, 0 2.5% rest (1st 4th mode). Ununiformed behaviour believed contribute, initiate active progressive shear cracking slab panels, columns, beam reentrant corners between laboratory academic buildingsof Building C. It worst when struck several earthquakes’ series. unsynchronised oscillation adjacent C had induced couple lateral torsional deformations. Thestructural non-structural damages mostly concentrated mid-span which identical location maximum deflection amplitudes. In conclusion, strict attention must be emphasized based their analyses, could altered presence structures.
